Turn china into jewelry
I love the idea of using leather. It would be soft against the skin. I tried to open the video showing aluminum tape but it's not available,. Thanks for letting me know, Willi. I have removed the link to that aluminum tape one. I was looking for this video last year to make a China pendant and could not find it. Thank you for sharing it Pearl.
Broken china jewelry
Thanks for the comment and feedback. You do make a difference on my blog! Pearl Blay. Her initial idea was to use a snipe or cutter to break up the plate and perhaps file.
How to cut china for jewelry
The issue with broken chinaware is the sharpness of the edges. Filing these sharp edges by hand will take too long. A belt sander would be faster but Lynn did not want to use any electrical devices either. Then I remembered an old video I shared about 13 years ago which shows how leather can be used to wrap the broken china.
